New Video post

its been TOO LONG!!

hey, i haven't written on here in a while. Im getting use to making the videos and posting those that I forgot how to write a post. haha. well time is winding down until im back in New Orleans. I really excited that i will be going home in TWO and a half weeks. i have soo much to do here to get ready for the journey home. i have to pack all the things in my apartment that im leaving up here in storage and then pack all the stuff i am taking and get that ready to just be put in the trunk and ready to move. its gonna be a little sad leaving my first apartment but i know that what is gonna happen this summer is far greater than me and im really excited to see that God has in store for the people of New Orleans. i have been keeping up with all the other interns ad they are super excited for the summer as well. everyone is just ready to be done with school and looking forward to summer. be on the look out for a new video that im gonna post tomorrow that i did a while ago but im gonna make another one and up it up so be on the look out for that. i love all yall and thanks for reading, supporting, and praying for me. peace

More Newbies

hey everyone. I know its been a little while since i blogged but these few days kinda flew by. some good news is that we got a few more interns confirmed for this summer. Eric Baumgartner, Tyler Hackbart, Kati Sorenson, and Sasha Kamille. im excited to get to know these folks better this summer. from what i hear all of these people will bring someting different to the group which is always good. i knew Eric from a while ago and he also came down the last summer with a youth group and we got really close. im glad that he will be working with us this summer. i really don't know the others but from what i hear, we all will gel very well as a group. just starting the countdown. 5 weeks and counting!!!

The Interns Thus Far

hey guys, so first of all i realized that people think i'm super funny and like my video post so I will continue to do those even though i fell really awkward doing them. if you are reading this please take the time to be one of my followers of my blog and comment and let me know what you think. as I told you in the video, we have three total hired interns but as of yesterday we have a new member to the group. Her name is Blayne Jesse. she is a good friend of Brynn and is a pretty chill girl. i got to hang with her for a few days up here in MN when she came to visit with brynn and Tim (another friend of ours). just the time i spent with her she just seemed like a really cool person who loves to have fun and hang with the crew, not to mention she is very fashionable. she will be a great fit with our group this summer and bring a new fresh perspective. im getting ready for the summer more and more each passing day but i have to remember that what i will bw doing this summer is to enhance the Kingdom and in no way am I to get any of the glory. we all should think that about ourselves in our everyday life. LIVE FOR HIM AND NOT FOR YOU!!!

Two Months Till the Summer

Wow i can't believe that in two months i will be back in New Orleans doing training for the summer!!! Im really excited and anxious. this will be my fourth summer being a intern and my second as a lead intern. This summer i really hope to learn a lot more about myself, my gifts, and God. This is a summer internship that is very high energy and very high paced. from what I hear, the first three weeks are completely full with High School youth group teams. The intern staff is still being hired but those that have been hired are very close to me. one is a guy that i grew up with even though he is a few years younger than me. I call him my little brother (he has about 11 other siblings and i don't think he needs anymore but its cool!!) name Jermey. The other one is a girl that came down with her youth group a few years back when i interned and she also interned with me last year and is going to be my other lead intern. her name is Brynn and i call her my little sister (i guess im just everyone's older brother). right now im in the process of sending out my support letters because all of the interns have to raise up to $4200 dollars for the summer. For me this is a huge task because i have never had to raise money before and the amount that we have to raise is very large. I am fully relying on God to provide people that fell call to support me either through prayer or financially.
